Non-UK nationals living in the United Kingdom normally need this visa to travel to Australia.
UK citizens and many other nationalities may apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA, Subclass 601) or an eVisitor visa (Subclass 651) instead.
Most international students and foreign residents in the UK must apply for the Visitor Visa (Subclass 600).
